Garner, NC — Jeff Hurr Designs is proud to announce that our founder and owner, Jeff Hurr, has been named a 2025 Chevron Award recipient by the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. This prestigious honor recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the organization and the marching arts community.

Since 2001, Jeff Hurr Designs has been turning creative visions into reality, building innovative show props for marching bands, winter guards, and drum corps across the country. What began as Jeff’s solo project, crafting props for West Johnston High School while his daughter performed, has grown into a thriving business supporting the marching arts full time. Today, Jeff leads a talented team of three, creating show-stopping props for some of the top ensembles in the nation.

Over the past two decades, Jeff Hurr Designs has partnered with 12 of the top World Class drum corps and countless groups across various marching circuits. Our collaboration with Phantom Regiment began in 2021 with their production of Harmonic Journey, and 2025 marks our fifth consecutive season working together. During this time, Phantom Regiment has climbed from a 12th place finish to an impressive 4th place at the 2024 DCI World Championships.

We are incredibly honored to see Jeff recognized with the Chevron Award for his dedication, craftsmanship, and unwavering support of the Phantom Regiment and the marching arts as a whole. His passion continues to drive our team’s mission: bringing show designers’ dreams to life, one prop at a time.
