Fractured Mirrors

All panels are framed with aluminum tubing, and each frame includes a rear support that pivots out, allowing the props to sit on the turf at an approximate 15° angle toward the press box—similar to our front ensemble walls. Our parents added wheels to each frame, making the props extremely easy to move. They are covered in foamboard (from Lowe’s) and wrapped in Mylar (from Amazon). The parents spent several Saturdays completing all 16, and the props have held up very well—we’ve used them at five contests, including three prelims/finals, so they’ve had significant performance time. The Mylar was also re-done prior to our San Antonio trip.
